Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Manager

At Manthorpe Building Products we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced HSE&Q professional to join our business as a Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Manager at our site in Ripley.

The individual will be responsible for but not limited to developing and maintaining the Quality Assurance; Environmental and H&S Systems to ensure full compliance with the IS09001; 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, whilst improving the HSE culture throughout Manthorpe Building Products.

You will be expected to work closely with Departmental Managers and our colleagues in relation to the implementation of HSE Policies and best practice with a consistent approach throughout.  Assisting the management team with accident investigations to ensure the root cause analysis is completed and preventative measures are implemented to drive behavioural change and Improving employee engagement.

The Person

• Possess a NEBOSH Diploma
• Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO14001 and BS OHSAS18001
• Ability to lead and drive cultural and behavioural change and improvements in a diverse working environment
• Ability to engage and influence staff across all levels of the business
• Ability to work on own initiative through excellent time management skills
• Computer literate – excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook
• Possess internal drive to the development and delivery of the expectations of the role with an energetic and passionate approach
• Positive, friendly, approachable, and driven who is committed with a 'can do' attitude
