Manthorpe Building Products has announced the appointment of Tim Sykes as its new National Sales Manager, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it continues to drive growth across the UK.
Tim joins the business with nearly 20 years of industry experience, bringing with him a strong track record in sales leadership and business development. He began his career with John Guest Speedfit in 2006 and steadily progressed through a number of senior roles, including Regional Sales Manager and Director of Area Sales. Throughout his career, he has built extensive expertise and a deep understanding of the building products sector.
In his new role, Tim will be responsible for leading the national sales strategy, supporting customer relationships, and further enhancing Manthorpe’s presence within the market.
Away from the office, Tim enjoys spending time with his family. He lives with his wife Nina and their two daughters, Eleanor (7) and Sadie (17 months), who keep him busy. In his spare time, he stays active by playing football, occasionally taking part in cricket matches, and exploring the Lake District on walks. He also values holidays and socialising with friends.
The appointment reflects Manthorpe Building Products’ commitment to investing in experienced talent to support its continued success.
