Genuit Group has published its Sustainability Report 2026, highlighting continued progress in reducing the environmental impact of its operations while demonstrating how its businesses and solutions are helping create a more sustainable and resilient built environment. Among the case studies featured is Manthorpe's B125 Drive Drain, showcasing how sustainable drainage solutions can help manage surface water and support climate resilience.

The report brings Genuit's purpose, Together, we create sustainable living, to life through Group-wide performance, sustainability data and practical case studies from across its businesses.

Genuit's sustainability strategy focuses on some of the most significant challenges facing the built environment, including climate mitigation and adaptation, circularity, sustainable water management, healthier indoor environments, urban greening and biodiversity.

Continued progress on carbon reduction

During 2025, Genuit reduced its absolute Scope 1 & 2 greenhouse gas emissions to 12,746 tonnes CO₂e, representing a 39.4% reduction against its 2021 base year. This puts the Group ahead of its Science Based Targets initiative-approved target to achieve a 30% reduction by 2027.

Carbon intensity has reduced by 61.6% since the 2019 base year, while renewable electricity accounted for 98.7% of purchased electricity in 2025.

The Group also continued to advance circularity across its operations, with recycled materials accounting for 50.6% of total polymer tonnage consumed during the year.

Helping customers make more sustainable choices

Alongside reducing its own environmental impact, Genuit is strengthening the information available to customers to support more informed product and design decisions.

Life-cycle analysis coverage has reached 57% of revenue, with the Group expanding its use of independently verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). Internal analysis reported in the Sustainability Report shows Genuit products as the lowest-carbon option in 64% of evaluated competitor benchmark comparisons.

The report also highlights Genuit’s continued contribution to the green economy. 80.6% of Group revenue is classified as Green Revenue under the FY25 FTSE Russell Green Revenues Classification, and Genuit retained the London Stock Exchange Green Economy Mark for the seventh consecutive year.

Sustainability in action

Central to the 2026 report are examples showing how sustainability is being translated into practical action across the Group.

These include lower-carbon drainage solutions at the West Midlands Interchange; hybrid and natural ventilation supporting healthy, low-energy learning environments at Little Reddings Primary School; circular product design using 100% recycled polypropylene at Manthorpe; Nuaire moving its Drimaster-Eco casing to 100% recycled ABS plastic; collaboration by ADEY on rare earth magnet recycling; and integrated green infrastructure incorporating biodiversity, sustainable drainage and renewable energy at Cascade Towers.

Together, the case studies demonstrate the role Genuit’s businesses can play in both mitigating climate change and helping the built environment adapt to its effects, while supporting healthier, more resilient communities.

Genuit remains committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2050, supported by near- and long-term emissions-reduction targets approved by the Science Based Targets initiative.
